SHOWCASING GAME-CHANGING TECHNOLOGY
REVEALING THE FUTURE OF RETAIL CX
For the launch of Somark Innovation’s groundbreaking suite of medical research technology, I was briefed to develop an website which could showcase their new product suite.
THE CHALLENGE
With the product launch just weeks away, the challenge was to design and build a website that reflected SensaLab’s innovative products and educate academics, researchers and lab managers on the products benefits.
The website also required functionality for order processing and for staff to be able to add new content and products without the assistance of developers.
THE SOLUTION
Through consultation with the key client stakeholders, the solution was to develop a custom built website and utilise an off-the-shelf content management system to enable a balance between optimal UX, creative design, cost-efficiency and ease of use for staff to manage content.
DELIVERY
Delivery included staff training of the CMS platform, technical handover with the client’s CTO and seamless hosting transfer to the client’s IT environment enabling complete control over the site and its content.
MY ROLE
As the project lead, my role was to guide the client through the end-to-end process of developing the site, project management and overall responsibility for the delivery of the website.

THE OUTCOME
The site launched at the SensaLab product launch event in Austin, Texas. It’s design looked unlike anything its field and garnered praise from the pre-clinical trial sector.
Post-launch the site was handed over to Somark Innovations (SensaLab’s parent brand) who now oversee the site.
